A vulnerability in LND variations 0.10.x and under has been discovered and disclosed to the Lightning Labs, the developer of the Lightning Community.
The Lightning Community workforce, which is engaged on scaling and dashing up Bitcoin (BTC) transactions, has been warned of a vulnerability of their Lightning Community Daemon (LND). Per GitHub, LND is an entire implementation of a Lightning Community node. In its present state, it is able to creating and shutting channels, managing channel states, performing path discovering throughout the community and passively forwarding incoming funds, and so forth.
“Whereas we have now no purpose to imagine these vulnerabilities have been exploited within the wild, we strongly urge the neighborhood to improve to [LND] 0.11.Zero or above ASAP,” wrote engineer Conner Fromknecht within the Lightning Community developer channel.

In the meantime, as reported earlier this yr, in February, Lightning Labs mentioned it began beta testing its first paid product, Lightning Loop, the goal of which is to enhance transactions on the Bitcoin community.
In June 2019, the workforce launched their first Lightning Cell App, describing it as “the primary [Bitcoin] mainnet app on all main cellular and desktop platforms.”
